IIM, LucknowIf in three words I have to describe my summer internship experience in Exide it would be "It was fun". During my internship, I have never felt that I am not a part of Exide. I have worked as Head - Product Development & Deputy GM - Application Engineering, R&D. My project understood the usage patterns of E-Rickshaw batteries in India and preparation of brief strategy for Exide to increase the market share. I have visited different places of West Bengal, Lucknow and Delhi for this purpose. I have interacted with different customers, dealers for my project work and the experience was really enriching. I want to thank Exide for giving me this opportunity.

I got an opportunity to work and interact with some of them at the R&D facility in Kolkata. It was a great experience to work on a live project under the esteemed guidance GM (Technology & Innovation). Also, in a matter of just two months I was able to build a good rapport with many of the staff members, which made learning more fun. Overall, the experience was very enriching and will definitely be of great use in future.

As an intern I reported to top executives with immense knowledge and experience, so every meaningful idea had assured implementation, making it a practical hands-on learning experience. All this helped in inculcating a sense of responsibility for the job from the very first day hence bringing along the motivation to deliver value which I believe is as close to real business management as possible for an intern.
